    Anyone over 18 years of age, with an active phone number and a valid email address.
  • What is KYC? +
    Know Your Customer (KYC) is the process of verifying and maintaining records of the identity of our customers. We take online security very seriously and practice KYC policies to prevent identity theft, financial fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • What does Linked to Gold mean? +
    When you purchase gold through Copernicus Gold, we always purchase the physical equivalent and we store it for you. We never issue units of Copernicus Gold that are not matched by physical gold.
  • What if gold price goes up or down? +
    It is could be a good time to take a decision. While some users would “hold”, buying or selling could also be good strategy. Copernicus Gold is a Stored Value Facility and it is not in our scope to provide trading advice. If your intention is to speculate, you can seek advice from a professional trader to maximise your investment performance.
  • Shoud I pay some taxes buying and selling gold? +

    You shall be obliged to, by yourself, determine which taxes, if any, are imposed on the payments which you send or receive, and are responsible for the tax collection, declaration, and exemption, in the relevant amount, to the relevant tax authority. Copernicus Gold is not responsible for the determination of whether your transaction is imposed taxes upon, and for the tax collection, declaration or any tax exemption on the transaction.

    You are responsible for the payment of all the local taxes, fees and levies which are imposed, or may be imposed, on sending and reception of funds, and any relevant commissions.

  • How do I know my gold is genuine? +
    The gold is purchased from Gold Silver Central, one of the world’s most reputable refinery in the market.
  • How do I know my gold is safely stored? +
    Gold Silver Central sends to our accounting department a daily bar lists showing the gold stock held on behalf of Copernicus Gold.
  • How can I verify my account? +
    In the Identification process you will be asked to key in your particulars and process photo verification. The system will assign a unique number for your profile that you will be requested to write on a piece of paper. Then you will have to take a “selfie” picture holding both your NRIC and the piece of paper with the unique number written on it.
  • What is OTP? +
    OTP is the One Time Passcode that is sent to your registered mobile number for verification and security purposes.
  • Why should I buy gold in Copernicus Gold? +
    First of all, you can always collect your physical gold. The main idea is that you can start buying gold through our platform starting from quantities smaller than a gram, which is quite unusual in the physical gold market.
  • Can I delete my account? +
    Yes, at any point in time, as long as your account is in good standing and has no pending transactions.

  • How do I install Copernicus Gold App? +
    The Copernicus Gold App is available on both Android and iOS platforms. For Android: Open the Google Play Store website or the Google Play Store on your Android smartphone. Search for “Copernicus Gold” and tap “Install”. Review the requested permissions and select “OK”. For iOS: Open the App Store Search for “Copernicus Gold” and tap “Get”.
  • How much gold can I purchase? +
    After verifying your account you will have unlimited maximum balance. An account has not been verified can transact a total of SGD 250.
  • Can I open an account for my company? +
    After creating a Personal Copernicus Gold account, you can add one ore more Business accounts.
  • How can I “top up” my account? +
    You can use your Visa or Mastercard credit, debit or prepaid card. Such method allows you to purchase gold or top up your multi currency accounts. You can also make a bank transfer towards Copernicus Gold bank account stating the following in the description: “Account (your phone number)/SGD.
  • Can I buy gold using bank transfer? +
    No. You can only top up your local currency account. However, after doing so, you can purchase gold using your local currency account within the Copernicus Gold platform.
  • How can I “cash out”? +
    Inside the Copernicus Gold platform you can choose to convert your gold stock into fiat currency. You can alternatively collect the physical gold through one of our partners. Lastly, you can decide to use Copernicus Gold as a payment method and transfer your assets to other Copernicus Gold users.
